Please Come to the Comprehensive Plan Open House, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm

York Township and Spring Garden Townships are embarking on an exciting journey to shape the future of our community through a joint comprehensive plan. The goal of this planning effort is to analyze both communities as a geographic area to coordinate regulatory, service, and capital improvement decisions, reflecting a collective vision for growth, development, and sustainability.  Thank you to all of those that participated in our Survey last month!

As part of this process, we’d love to hear more from you — our residents! York Township will be holding an Open House for the comprehensive plan on the evening of Tuesday, January 21 at the Municipal Building (190 Oak Rd). We invite you to stop by any time between 4-6 PM, check out our findings so far, and give us your feedback on a wide range of critical topics, including land use, transportation, housing, economic development, agricultural and environmental conservation, and community services. There will be plenty of exhibits but no formal presentation, so feel free to come and go as you wish!

This Open House will be an opportunity to share your insights on how you would like the Township to handle growth and change over the next decade, address major issues and opportunities, and prioritize updates to land use and development policies.

Your voice will be instrumental in helping to shape the recommendations and strategies that the Township will use as a blueprint for the next decade. We hope to see you at the Open House!
