Whether you have recently moved to the area from out-of-state, or if you have resided in Pennsylvania all your life, it is important for you to understand Pennsylvania local taxes that may impact you. Please be sure to reach out to The York Adams Tax Bureau (YATB) if you have moved into PA from out-of-state. Reporting of local taxes is different in PA than other states.
In Pennsylvania, in addition to the state personal income tax collected by the PA Department of Revenue, municipalities, school districts and the county may each levy different types of taxes. These taxes and their descriptions are listed below.
The YATB is the appointed collector of Mercantile and Business Privilege Tax, Local Services Tax, and Earned Income Tax (EIT) for York Township. See below and for the York Adams Tax Bureau’s website and phone number.
Please also fill out a new resident change of address form and follow the directions on the form of where it should be sent.
